Using sustainably grown cocoa beans, Callebaut actually blends and roasts their cocoa beans in-house, ensuring the highest quality chocolate. Callebaut Kumabo dark chocolate has the robust flavor that chocolate connoisseurs and professionals bakers love. Made from the best West African cocoa, Kumabo is a bitter chocolate with a slight hint of sweet licorice. Kumabo 80.4% dark chocolate is blended from cocoa beans from Tanzania, Ghana and Saõ Tomé, along with 100% pure cocoa butter and natural bourbon vanilla. Kumabo dark chocolate callets have a fluidity level of 3, making it the perfect choice for chocolate sauces and enrobing cakes, cookies and toffees. Callets are similar to chocolate chips. These are large round pieces of dark chocolate are easy to melt and temper, making them an excellent choice for recipes calling for chunks of chocolate. Try using this deep dark, extra couverture chocolate in Dark Chocolate Earl Grey Truffles, Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes or in your favorite ganache recipe.
