The Spectras Xenon bulbs emulate the wide variety of headlight colors that can be achieved through HID Xenon lighting systems. There are currently two performance oriented colors available in the Spectras program: "Ultra-White", which emulates a 6000K HID bulb, and "Cold-Blue", which emulates a 10000K HID bulb. A mixture of pressurized xenon, halogen, and argon gasses combined with a high quality filament allows for only 65/75 watts of power while emitting upwards of 90/100 watts of light. In addition to emitting more light, the Spectras maintain safe heat levels which also give them a long bulb life. Spectras Xenon s are rated at 800 hours bulb life which is comparable to standard factory headlights, and is much greater than similar high brightness and high whiteness aftermarket bulbs. Their long life, low heat, and increased tone will outperform factory headlight bulbs. Color

The "Cold-Blue" and "Ultra-White" colors of the Spectras Xenon line have been fine-tuned by experimenting with different combinations of gases, bulb finishes and specialized filaments. They were designed to blend perfectly with the colors produced by the HID systems found in the high-end luxury vehicles.

Brightness

OE/Factory bulbs vs. Spectras bulbs

Spectras Xenon s offer brightness levels that will match or exceed the vehicle s factory installed OEM halogen bulbs. This brightness level is achieved by using a high quality filament from Japan that safely emits upwards of 90/100 watts of light. Standard OE bulbs output about 1000 lumens of light, whereas the Spectras Xenon s are capable of outputting upwards of 1300 lumens.

Longevity

Spectras Xenon s have a life expectancy of around 800 hours. 800 hours of bulb use exceeds any aftermarket high performance bulb on the market and is comparable to the life expectancy of stock bulbs. This long life expectancy is achieved by limiting power consumption and therefore controlling the heat of the filament. The less amount of heat a filament endures the longer it will burn with light. Spectras Xenon s are also backed by a 30 day limited warranty.

Safety

Spectras Xenon s are able to maintain safe heat levels because they are limited to drawing a maximum of 75 watts of power. Spectras are made using a special filament that emits a relatively higher amount of light compared to heat it produces. This special filament allows the bulbs to shine brighter - not hotter. The result is a safe product for the consumer and their vehicle.
