This cable can play music and charge for iPhone 7 & 7 Plus with all IOS system and iphone 6/6 Plus/6s/ 6s Plus with update to ios 10.3 and later ios version!
This cable can only charge for iPhone 6 & 6s Plus / iphone 5/5s/5c with ios 10.2 and earlier ios version!
How to use:
1.Plug the connector to your MMI socket or center console;
2.The original box/Connector of MMI MIP must be installed in original audio host, which is usually in glove box or center armrest box,
3. Start your car
4. Plug the Lightning connector to your iPhone.
5. Look at your Comand APS NTG,to see whether it reminds you to choose AUX and connect the phone.USUALLY, when you connect the AMI interface, it can play music and charge automatically.There is no content displayed on the head unit screen
6. Sometimes, the screen displays " the device can not be recognized" just ignore it , choose "Audio" , and choose "AUX" in your Comand APS NTG 2.5 3 4.5 control panel by yourself.
7. Play music.
NOTE:
1. With MMI Plug for iphone7/ 7 plus , This cable only interfaces the audio, all other controls must be made on the audio device itself. it can not be controlled the music from wheel steering.
2. This Cable cannot compatible with Mercedes benz 2008 or earlier models.
3. DO NOT connect this cable to your iPhone before plugging it to your car
