Dating back to our childhood in Eastern Europe, cupping was the go-to practice to fight cold and flu and a number of other ailments that our parents and grandparents successfully treated with this remarkable holistic modality. Some years later, now in his 40 s when Igor, a black belt in MMA and Tae Kwan Do and a purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu continued to suffer sports related injuries from his strenuous training and struggling to find a remedy that worked, we recalled the many benefits of cupping from our childhood.
Conscious of the public s perception that cupping causes bruising marks and traditionally uses fire and glass jars, we thought: "there must be a better way," so we set out to create user friendly cupping kits for self-care that everyone, regardless of age and experience can enjoy.
