The Samurai Megazord s sleek stature is comprised of five separate animal-inspired vehicles known as Zords. Each Zord corresponds to the Ranger colors as seen in the TV series, including Yellow Ape, Pink Turtle, Red Lion, Green Bear, and Blue Dragon--the latter three feature opening mouth details. With their bold colors and jagged textures, the Zords offer a simple, yet distinctive design that kids will recognize and appreciate.
When it comes time for serious combat, all five Zords can be combined to create Samurai Megazord. Transforming them is exceedingly easy, as each Zord requires only a few steps to complete the process. Once transformed, the Zords snap into place to form the arms, legs, and torso of Samurai Megazord. The finished figure stands an impressive 10 inches tall and features a detachable samurai helmet and Katana sword that can be held in either hand or stored on its waist.
This figure is not as sophisticated as some other transforming robots on the market, and its articulation is limited--only its arms and right wrist rotate. During rough play, the Zords are prone to popping off, yet are easy to reattach.
