1) Connect the provided 11-pin to 5-pin Adapter Cable onto the micro-USB connector of the HD-X3 cable.
2) Now plug the 11-pin connector of adapter cable to your smartphone s female microUSB port.
3) Important: Plug USB connector of cable to your smartphone s wall charger. You should see your device in charging mode now.
4) Finally plug HDMI male connector of cable to your HDTV/Home theater system.
---For 5-pin devices (Samsung Galaxy S2 S1 Note1, HTC M9 M8(Android) M7)---:
1) You don t need the 11-pin to 5-pin Adapter Cable for 5-pin devices. So you can keep the small adapter cable aside.
2) Plug the 5-pin microUSB connector of cable directly to your smartphone s female microUSB port.
3) Important: Plug USB connector of cable to your smartphone s wall charger. You should see your device in charging mode now.
